'Three Views of Mirabella' is a collage. A collision. Just listen to the marching bands two thirds of the way through. An actual real live Viennese street band - field recording, Vienna 2007 - runs parallel to a similarly boisterous studio band featuring Owen, Jen and Claudia and me. The collage pieces on Mirabella are replete with this sort of thinking.
